Be a Happy Homeowner - Buy a New Home

As I drive around the Wash Park, Platte Park and DU areas, it seems as if a lot of homes are for sale.  It makes me wonder if all the homes for sale are worth the effort to move.  If you find yourself wondering the same thing, why not get out and take a closer look.  You don't have anything to loose and right now is a great time to buy a new house.  If you haven't purchased a new home in the last 3 years, you are most likely eligible for the first time home buyer credit, which is set to expire at the end of November, by the way, so act fast.

If you are anything like me, you live in an older home with tons of character.  Well, if you are indeed in my situation, you may find yourself longing for the convenience of our lovely characteristic neighborhood without the "hassle" of the old plumbing, old electric issues, old and worn floors, oh and the wonderfully fun old windows in the winter.  In my home when its 30 outside, its about 40 inside.  So, if you do find yourself in a similar situation, I urge you to check out some of the great places for sale in our convenient little neighborhood.

One of my favorite new places in the area, is the Wash Park Row Homes project.  This new small-scale development offfers the best of both worlds, in my opinion.  With this project you get the neighborhood with the new amenities, all at a very affodable price.  The project is modeled after architecture you would find in Vancouver and Europe.  The footprint of this project is is very compact and it has a heavy green building focus.  Wash Park Row Homes are beautiful on the inside, complete with granite countertops and state of the art appliances, they even have new double pain isnulated windows to help keep warm air inside during the winter.  Anyone who chooses to live in this project, can definetly live the 'green' lifestyle.  The price point for this project is $349,900 for the 1500 sq. ft units and $399,000 for 1750 sq. ft.  This project is not only energy efficient, but its also affordable and in the city.

If you find yourself curious as to what is for sale in the neighborhood, get yourself to Pearl St. and Kentucky and check out this project - you won't be dissapointed.   The proximity to everything you need is unbeatable and the new-ness of the project won't leave you in the cold this winter.  Check out Wash Park Row Homes for pictures of the project and complete details.  When you decide to look around and you would like home mortgage information, or for your personalized Certificate of Qualification contact me, Jennifer @ 303.872.7894 or jennifero@yourmortgagepeople.com.  If you would like to speak to the listing Realtors, contact Jessica Reed at jessicareed@comcast.net or Deviree Vallejo at deviree@kentwoodcity.com.
